Few Most Common SEO Mistakes

Proper Search Engine Optimization is really important if your want good traffic from search engines and if you dont do it properly there are chances that search engines will rank your site lower in the search engine results and your link’s rank will be lower and as a result traffic coming from organic sites will be less. So in order to avoid this mistake, i am writing few points that you should take care. Although, these days blogs comes with SEO optimized themes so you dont have to worry about it that much but in case you are doing something on your own, you should avoid these mistakes.

One of the most common mistake made by people is Creating a duplicate title tag or you can say poor titles. Title tags are the words that comes on the top of your browser which are the first thing that search engines look for and give a lot of importance to titles.

The next thing is poor site usability. Its how easy it is for the visitor to navigate your site and when its all messed up and the visitor cant find what its looking for, it will be a problem for you as you are losing visitors and also for search engines.

Insufficient content or you can say lack of Quality content. Writing quality content is really important if you want to get traffic so when there will be no content, there will be no visitors and so no traffic for your website and no earnings. So its better you update your site on regular basis with quality content and it will be good for you.

Linking to other sites have to done very carefully as well. Spamming has become such a problem that the search engines have really changed their algorithms with respect to linking. Linking to sites with no PR or no quality content can be bad for your site when it comes to SEO so link to sites that have high PR and are good.

Last but not least, Same meta description on every page is another common mistake people make. These elements are included in duplicate content filter checks by the search engines. Meta Tags are the description that the search engine uses for your web page, so make sure its describes your blog properly.
