Why you should add Meta Keywords

I explained before in my previous post how you can optimize your site and do proper Search Engine Optimization and how to Add Meta Tags. In that post i also told you to add the meta keywords in you theme and most of you who are new to this might be thinking why meta keywords are so important and in this post i will tell you everything about how useful these meta keywords are and how they helped me increase my traffic.

The meta tags allows you to influence the description of your page in the crawlers that support the tag and list the keywords most relevant to the Web page for better, more accurate search engine identification. Meta keywords gave a new life to one of my blogs. In the beginning it was going quiet well and I was getting about 150-170 unique hits from Google but one day it just fell off the roof. The traffic went down from 170 to 25. I was very depressed then but I kept posting on my blog.

I had been wondering about how I can bring more organic traffic on my blog and finally somebody told me about the “Meta Keywords”. I added them and the traffic increased from 25 to 350 !!! woo!. and of course my earnings increased as well. It also depends on how you use your keywords so you better do a little research on what people are looking for now a day and use your meta keywords to bring maximum traffic to your blog.
