Choosing a Domain name for your Blog
Choosing a domain name can be a very frustrating process because all the good ones are already taken of course, so now you need to improvise and come up with something unique and good.
I’ve read some e-books with a topic or two merged in regarding choosing domain names. Well, most of the people think that choosing a domain name related to the blog’s Niche is great; It is, it does help your site in search engines. I think to but not to that extent! I mean, GREAT money making blogs aren’t domain name friendly. Light a bulb? how about JohnChow? it’s the guy’s name and it doesn’t relate to his money making blog Niche! Another one is DoshDosh, a very good blog with good content but again, the domain name doesn’t relate to anything!
The list can go on and on but I’m just writing this to clear some things. In my eyes, content is the most important thing! SEO, keywords etc.. If you can rank high, first page of google, top 5 results, heck it won’t matter even if your domain name is ICameFromMars.com!! you’ll still get clicks and people reading your site. Anyway, I’ve used couple of tools that I think are the best and you won’t be needing any more to suggest a domain name.
